Products made out of steel and non-ferrous metals of all kinds can be marked – whether they are hardened, steam treated, burnished, nickled, chromed or whether they are large or small, flat or round, convex or concave in shape. The marking can be varied – it may consist of characters, a logo, a complex graphic, an exact scale for measuring instruments (EN 29000-4) or even a barcode. The marking is durable and precise with a good contrast. Dark marks can be created black up to 6 microns deep, or a natural etch up to 0,1mm deep. The marking does not cause any damage on the product surface. For many metals it is even possible to make use of non-corrosive electrolytes.
